CES 2010: Intel has opened a store for atom-based devices

INTEL at CES2010 officially presented its new creation in the beta edition. This is the electronic app store Intel AppUp Center , created specifically for netbooks running on Intel Atom processors.

The service provides users with access to paid and free content for netbooks based on Windows and Moblin operating systems. A wide choice of applications already at the beta development stage allows us to talk about the successful start of this resource. Here you can find both entertainment programs and games, as well as educational, socially-oriented applications.

Working with the store involves the use of a special client, with the help of which purchases will be made.

For developers of applications, a special Intel Atom Developer Program is open, which will allow you to create and sell your own applications in an electronic store. The Atom SDK and development materials for the Atom platform are also published there.
