As you already know, it was decided to release eyeos 2.0 this year. From the first days of eyeos 1.0, it was clear that eyeos 2.0 will be something more than just a revision of versions 1.x with a new theme. The developers wanted to do something completely new, the plans were the following: the transformation of the desktop, new applications in the basic set, increased usability.

Desktop

You and your colleagues will always be up to date with the latest document changes, even being outside the system, due to e-mail messages.
Notifications
EyeOS 2.0 will show which colleagues are online, you can chat and work. In real time. EyeOS 2.0 is available to developers since November, 2009. Systems is available to everyone, from January 1, 2010.
New applications
For EyeOS 2.0, a full-featured word processor (with a collaboration mode), an instant messaging system, a completely new and powerful calendar integrated with other applications has been created.
