Skepticism about my previous post brought me to a completely logical question: why, in fact, in Russia in general, no one knows what a HoneyPot !? Technologies that live and earn millions of dollars in English-speaking countries in Russia simply do not take root. And this is not on a topic like “we haven’t delivered this yet” ... Once I had to talk with one head of the information security department of a large international company. So he confessed to me that they use HoneyPot and have already caught 80 hackers on this technology, but not one of them in Russia. Despite the fact that there are more than 30% of the assets of information resources, they are simply not needed by anyone. Whether the level is not that of our hackers, or they are all busy with something else.
