Brainstormblogger - blogging system on drupal

There is Drupal, there is Wordpress, there are other systems.

But for some reason, Drupal is not so popular among bloggers. And everything is quite simple.
Making basic settings for the uninitiated site is a big problem. Accordingly, it is easier for a novice to put something else, the same Wordpress in which the visual editor is, and the categories do not have to be tormented, in general, everything is there for blogging out of the box.

It was decided to create an installation profile that allows you to create a customized site for a blogger with a couple of mouse clicks, with a choice of themes, etc., with customized WYSIWYG, customized permalinks and so on. That is, I unpacked the archive, prepared the settings.php, launched it and got the result.

The blogging system is an installation of Drupal and additional auxiliary modules. The goal of the system is to get a fully-fledged, customized, workable blog immediately after installation

The system uses the following set of third-party modules: better_formats , better_messages , captcha , CCK , dst , filefield , imageapi , imagecache , imagefield , lightbox2 , no_anon , pathauto , persistent_login , tagadelic , token , uploadpath , wysiwyg , admin_menu .

At the same time, the Drupal core is minimally patched in order for winter / summer time to work properly (dst module).

After installation, you get a customized blog visual, ready to go. Russian localization is included as much as it was accessible from the server drupaler.ru .
