Standard for the size of illustrations in the texts
I propose to agree on the size of images that can be used in articles, columns, etc. Many publications have their own “favorite” sizes of illustrations (for example, on VNUnet.com, where I had the honor to work a little, it's 185x110 pixels). Such standards serve to unify the appearance of each article so that in the end the whole site looks slimmer and more pleasant to the eye . Of course, he is still quite pleasant to himself, but there is no limit to perfection. :)
Immediately I propose to set the maximum size in width for large illustrations that are placed in a separate paragraph without text wrapping (diagrams, diagrams ...) as 430px in width (otherwise they will climb to the bottom of the article). And for small pictures that precede the text (for example, company logos and any clip-art on the subject of the article), I propose to set the standard size 140x140px or, if the square cannot be made, up to 180px in width.
