Joost invitations are not limited

From today, invitations to peering interactive TV Joost.com for betatest are available without restriction.

All who wish to receive them - leave emails (can be sent in the message of Habrapish). For comfortable viewing, the recommended internet connection speed is at least 1 megabit, more than 100 TV channels are already available, their number is constantly growing. Choose a channel - choose a program - look!

The picture quality is pretty decent (for the TV just fits), but here 320MB per hour is a little depressing - at times the video slows down even on a fast channel.

The program interface is quite pleasant, you can figure it out in a few minutes. And to expand the functionality there is the ability to add widgets. The Joost client is only in the versions for Windows XP and MacOSX, but in my Linux it did not run under a wine windows-xp-client, so full-fledged testing was not possible. But the developers promise that they will be released in the near future. So hope to see Joost under Linux still remains.
