The main goal of the association is to form a transparent market for digital services in Russia. Participants plan to achieve this by standardizing processes in the market (rules for participation in tenders, model documents, etc.) and conducting educational activities in the broad sense of the term.
The fact that, for the first time in the history of the web development market, leading companies have been able to come to an agreement and act as a united front is already a landmark event. Attempts that were made earlier were either not brought to release, or had a frankly weak list of participants.
Now, the new structure has real levers for managing the market, both by influencing customers (for example, by forming a single set of rules for participating in tenders) and by colleagues.
It is also interesting that the association is formed by direct market participants, and not by various “superstructures” that deal with the general regulation of the Internet. This allows us to hope for real work projects and initiatives that will not be divorced from the real market.
The list of the nearest events that the AIA intends to hold is not clear yet, as well as the criteria for joining the association of new participants (but by the composition of the organizers it is clear that the structure will more likely resemble a closed elite club where only companies with real weight can enter On the market).
