I think many habrazhiteli saw a new game in the city of Yandex. You can play with a rival, and with the robot - City. We wondered whether it was possible to defeat Gorodovoi - that is, to drive him into a corner, so that he could not make a move and gave up.
After careful preparation, it turned out that this is not a simple City Policeman, but a real Japanese City Policeman! Samurai’s blood flows in his veins: he would rather make himself hara-kiri than give up and let you enjoy the victory :)



It is clear that the robot knows a lot of cities for almost every letter of the alphabet, and therefore hammering it with cities in a row is the same as brutessing the admin-paranoid password - well, maybe in a year it will give the result. Therefore, you have taken a single exception letter - the letter Y, for which there are simply very few cities. The matter is complicated by the fact that his list of cities does not coincide with what can be found on the map and on the Internet, he does not recognize some of the cities, but he knows others.

In order to drive the robot to a dead end, a decent list of cities ending in S was compiled, and the matter went.

It turned out that the robot knows 12 cities in Y: Yrmak, Ygdyr, Ylgyn, Ylgaz, Ylydzha, Ylydzhalar, Ynda-Syllace, Ydybyr, Ynykchansky, Ygyr, Ysparta, Yshtyk.

As soon as you ask him to name the 13th, he will give you an error:

At first I thought it was a network error, but the network was in perfect order. In addition, a “control measurement” was made - the game is repeated, and it ended the same way.
What is interesting, if you click "OK", the error window will disappear, but the robot will still not let you enter your city by removing the "Continue" sending button.


After that, the further game is impossible. The map scrolls, lists too, the entered city cannot be changed - only one button works out of all the game buttons ... “Surrender”.

Moreover, the robot will happily accept your surrender, and even draw just such an absurd picture:


“Just think, I called fewer words - I won anyway!”

So: verified, the Policeman has a real Nordic samurai character!

UPDATE: Friends suggested that Gorodovoi knows one more city on Y-Yshikly, but apparently does not give it to the user for humanistic reasons. :)
