Greetings to the community. I think I'm not the first and not the last, before whom the question arose, how to save the html page in pdf or jpeg format. The situation is simple. We develop crm, there is a document generator for workflow. The generator, respectively, is only for the entire html template, adapted for the documentation. In short, the output we have html. The system itself sends applications to manufacturers, letters to partners and so forth. It is completely unreasonable to send them in html form, in pdf or jpeg it is.
Standard console tools for converting html into something more “convenient” did not fit. This is understandable, the layout of many documents is quite specific and in any case without a processor (in our case, a browser) is indispensable. A bunch of relevant software and modules were tested. From php scripts to console applications. The dompdf turned out to be the closest of all, but it was not perfect + often failed, which is unacceptable in our case.
As a result, they came to the decision that there is nothing left but to take a Windows server, put it in a normal DC, raise firewalls and so on and do the service.
Dear experts, attention to the question :) Do we reinvent the wheel? Maybe someone knows such a service, where he paid the money, and at the output of html you get a copy of firefox-like but in jpeg and pdf?
ps, respectively, tips and methods like "and you do not create documents that are not firefox-like, but how you like the console software" are not suitable, it is about a fairly simple document generator. Not to force each crm user to learn the features of the same html2ps render, and the beginning layout designer will cope with the layout for the great three.
