On December 28, 2009, the start of the CMS rating of site management systems conducted as part of the Runet Rating project was launched. The rating is based on the data collected by the analytical web development market portal CMS Magazine. The catalog of the
CMS Magazine project contains the largest database of sites operating on various management systems. These data, through a personal account, are made by web studios, CMS representatives, and through a special form on the site - users and site owners. The more sites that work on a particular control system and the higher the credibility indexes of these sites from the point of view of search engines, the higher the content management system is in the CMS rating.
')
Formed global
CMS rating and local ratings by site types (corporate sites, online stores, promotional sites, portals and services, blogs, social networks), platforms (IIS, Apache, nginx), license type (commercial and open-source) , “Alienability” (“boxed” and “individual”).
Data collection for the rating will be carried out until
January 31, 2010 .
The final results of the rating, TOP-50
CMS Runet, will be publicly presented in February 2010. Intermediate results are already available in real time on the page of the Rating Runet project (http://www.ratingruneta.ru/cms).
All data on the basis of which the CMS rating is based, are automatically checked. Verification is carried out using a special robot developed by the Internet Agency "Business Advertising". The robot checks for the presence of the declared CMS on the site by the so-called "fingerprints" - signs that clearly indicate the presence of a specific control system on the site.
