Site pages appear in Google Earth

A few months ago, Google added a new feature to Google Maps called Place Pages . Google described them as “web pages for every place in the world.” There are auto-generated pages for each place found in Google Maps - for restaurants, for attractions, for cities, for public transport, and the like. When you went to a page of a place that belongs to you, you got the opportunity to edit the page, add photos, and so on. Very ingeniously arranged.

Now you can see this information in Google Earth , and it is not difficult to do this. When looking at a commercial enterprise or other interesting object in Google Earth, simply click on the link “View More Information” , and you will see their page.

Reading the page, you can open many subsections, click on the corresponding link “more” on this page: “more photos” , “more reviews” , and so on.



This is a very small change in Google Earth, but it provides access to thousands of data that you can look through. It seems that this is another step towards the availability of all information from Google Maps to Google Earth (and vice versa), which will help make both programs more useful for everyone.
