Vinyl + Conectiv + PC Case Modding

Once, my long-time dream came true - I got my own set of turntables, which I had dreamed of since '97, when I first became a remote control at a nightclub. However, after six months of playing only vinyl, I wanted to diversify the repertoire, and since buying vinyl was never a cheap pleasure, it was decided to buy a controller that allows you to play mp3 and manage the tracks with the help of LPs. The choice fell on M-Audio Torq Conectiv, as the optimal solution.

After buying the case, I got the idea to stop messing with laptops and put the brains directly into the case.

I have been thinking about buying a Mac-Mini for a long time, but in the end I decided to build a system on a PC-platform, especially since quite modern pieces of iron were lying around the house.

So start

I apologize in advance for the fact that the photo report without ending. The system was built at the beginning of 2008 and did not live up to its present day, the photos on the media were not preserved, nor was it at the photo hosting sites, but in general, the idea can be understood, and you can repeat if you wish.

In the beginning, everything looked like this:

There were heaps of wires, and even had to make a stand for a laptop, which was terribly uncomfortable.

As a result, I wanted to reduce the time spent on deploying the installation and integrate All-in-1.
Motherboard ( GA-MA78G-DS3H ), together with the panel from the old case, I screwed it to the bottom of the case.

Although the sound capabilities of the Nurse was excellent, the M-Audio Torq Conectiv USB was used as the audio interface.

Now I remember with a smile the times when foolishly shoved 500-watt watt power supplies anywhere, not thinking about saving

A 320 GB hard drive settled in a pocket with forced cooling, and was easily removed to update the library from the main home computer

This photo unfortunately ends.

All cables were neatly packed with ties, on top everything was covered with a plastic cover, on which the console was already installed. As a monitor, an old 15 "TFT monitor LG was used, the broken stand of which was perfectly fixed on the back of the case without alterations.

Only two cables were removed from the case - power and line-out. Weighed construction assembly in the region of 40-45 kilograms.

This is my first habratopik. Thanks for attention.
