A short post-note on the proper use of different types of disclosure indicators in UITableView. It is not nice that many
Russian authorship applications violate this HIG clause.

In the iPhone Human Interface Guidelines there is a
description of different options for cells in the table, I want to stop at two of them.
Disclosure indicator . When there is this indicator, the user knows that when he clicks on any part of the cell, he will go to the next level of the hierarchy or to the list of options associated with the item.
')
Detail disclosure button . Users click
on this element to obtain detailed information about the associated element (in addition, this button can be used outside the context of the tables). Note that selecting a cell and clicking on a button are two different actions.
Why am I all this? It seems that the developers see a round blue button and think: "Oh, for ***, it will stand out." And it's good if they tie the click processing on the detail disclosure button to the click on the cell itself, so no, for some this button does nothing at all! Is it really so hard to master HIG? Understand that users get used to the interface, and if they see the blue button, they expect to see
additional information there, do not do it simply because it looks beautiful! If you don’t like the standard indicator so much, well, make your own theme, make a subclass and draw as it should, but don’t go far from HIG, in the app there are examples of great applications that look out of the box but are quite usual.
It is very disappointing that I notice this problem, mainly in Russian applications.
