Starting today, YouTube willshare its income with the most popular users, including LisaNova , renetto , HappySlip , smosh , and valsartdiary . Thousands of medium content creators and small TV production centers and universities will also pay. These “cool users” will be selected from the list of people who have the most people subscribed to and whose videos have been played the most. In this way, YouTube is going to put regular users and professional content producers in one row and push the first to upload original recordings to the site. The reason for this step can be considered three things. Firstly, in this way it is possible to show the importance of the user content for the project, and not the illegally posted video protected by copyright - after all, paying the money by the user is a signal of the project’s income to them. Secondly, it can be associated with advertising testing in videos. But thirdly, all YouTube competitors have long been allowing users to make money on their videos.
It is worth noting that the selection of "cool users" by the number of subscribers gives little cause for concern, based on the fact that YouTube cannot regulate the current number of subscribers. A more serious reason is the fact that YouTube has still not eliminated the error since 2006, which allows to spin the number of video views by updating the page: when money is involved here, this trick will be used even more often.
