Yota changes Wi-Fi to WiMax in Acer and Asus laptops

It turns out that Yota has been sly launched a campaign to replace Wi-Fi modules in Acer and Asus laptops with dual-system Wi-Fi / WiMAX. The action is conditionally free - the money is taken only for the module itself (1900 rubles). You can upgrade your laptop in the service centers of Moscow, Ufa and St. Petersburg .

Unfortunately, I didn’t find the cost of Wi-Fi / WiMAX-modules as such - so I cannot evaluate the benefits of this offer compared to self-installation, however, in general, it looks quite attractive - first of all because when replacing the module in an authorized service center the warranty is maintained.

By the way, the girl on the phone in RSS, even if she was stupid, terrified, but she still said that this action applies to owners of other brands of laptops, and not just the letter A.
