Some people on Habré try to write posts and get to the top, but few succeed. My post is about how and what to write to get to the top. From my experience.
The article will be useful
only to those who write posts , especially for beginners.

It so happened that often on Habré "minus" and "obserat" :). But, as you can see, the top is still full of high-quality content, and the critic has never been to the detriment of anyone. Therefore, it is logical to assume that some users know how to write interesting material, while others don’t know how (but something tells me that they want to learn).
To begin with , in order to understand how interesting / uninteresting the material will be, you need to understand who will read it, i.e. Target audience Habrakhabra. Once there was a poll on the topic “Who are you a Habrochelek?”, But I, unfortunately, could not find it, therefore in words: the people of Habr are, first of all, ITishniki, mostly men, from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and others countries (this statistics can be found here:
http://habrahabr.ru/info/stats/ ). From this you can make only one conclusion: you need to write posts for Russian men about programming! :)
Then you need to know the
most interesting topics . Back in 2007, there was a survey on this topic (
http://habrahabr.ru/blogs/ilhh/35190/ ). On it the most interesting topics: Internet projects, technologies of the future, web programming, design, layout and management. But do not forget that it is already outdated, and Habra’s audience has changed a bit since then, so I’ll add some popular topics from myself today: business, self-development, do-it-yourself, famous people (mostly IT employees), gadgets and information security.
About half of users rate (plus) the post after reading it, a little more estimate immediately after reading the title, or after reading the post with comments (there was a survey on this subject here:
http://habrahabr.ru/blogs/ilhh/35229/ ). Therefore, we recall the first rule of copywriting: the heading is the most important part of the article, then we pay attention to the preface to the article, it should interest and make the post read completely. It should also be remembered that a person pays the most attention to the beginning of the post and to its end: therefore, we are first interested, and in the end we summarize.
Do not forget that Habrés simply hate advertising in any form, so the advice is for those who wish to advertise: do it unobtrusively and, in general, it is better to add even unobtrusive advertising after the post has hit the top.
In a good post there is a picture, for attracting attention, the main thoughts stand out in bold, and also humor in Habré, so a post diluted with jokes will be perceived much better than just a dry text.
Of course, you can use friendships for help: for example, if a post lacks one voice to the top (you need + 7 to get to the top), you can turn the attention of friends registered on Habré to the post.
And one more important point: according to my personal observations, comments on the post greatly attract attention to him and help him get to the top!
The dry residue: write interesting, unique posts on interesting topics and easily get to the top!
