MacRumors.com reporters have unearthed
a patent application filed by Apple. The patent contains a description of the 3D-display with an intuitive control.
As it is known, in existing similar devices, rotation of 3D objects requires mouse movements and simultaneous pressing of buttons, which, according to Apple, is too difficult for novice users. Therefore, another option is proposed: changing the perspective and position of three-dimensional objects depending on the position of the user's body. That is, you can control objects by tilting the head and torso.

Accordingly, such a display should track the movement of the user. There is no problem here, because there are many suitable technologies, including video tracking, infrared sensors, electromagnetic sensors, etc. Of course, the easiest way to make the appropriate drivers for the webcam.

Apple offers a similar management interface for two-dimensional applications, that is, the tilt of the head can move windows in the normal interface of the operating system.
