The Python 3 Immersion Translation Project

       In the fall, Mark Pilgrim’s book Dive into Python 3 was published, and I decided to try to translate it into Russian.
       Actually, all work is carried out in Wikisource - ru.wikisource.org/wiki/Dipping into_Python_3_ ( Pilgrim) .
       So far, only the first few chapters have been translated, because I am doing this alone.

What for?

       Some ask why translate if real programmers still know English well enough?
       Firstly, not all schoolchildren and students have learned English well enough, and they already want to learn Python. Secondly, for many the text in a non-native language is simply an extra barrier to the knowledge of the language, and even with a sufficient level of English, the text in Russian will be perceived more naturally.
       In any case, alternatives are never redundant.

Why am I doing this?

       In general, it is hard for one to translate a whole book, so I propose to participate. If there are at least some more people - for example, n , - the work will immediately go n +1 times faster!

How?

       Come to Wikisource (link above), take a chapter for yourself and translate paragraph by paragraph. If there are doubts or objections, use the discussion pages or contact me. If you do not understand anything in the wiki markup, just write as you like, more experienced comrades will then correct.
