YouTube helped find thieves

45-year-old Thomas Karer, owner of a computer shop in the Austrian city of Grieskirchen, found his method of catching thieves. Annoyed by frequent thefts, he placed a surveillance system in his room. He posted a video with another robbery on YouTube . The response to it was not long in coming.



As you can see on the record , a laptop worth $ 2 thousand was whistled from the window by two teenagers. The guys were unlucky: after posting the video on YouTube, they were recognized and quickly found. Two refugees from Georgia and Armenia turned out to have stolen the laptop.
