By the end of 2011, 80% of active Internet users will lead a “double life” (or have a second life - a question of terminology), that is, actively participate in the organization of virtual communities like
Second Life .
This expert opinion was voiced at the Gartner Symposium / ITxpo 2007. Five laws on virtual worlds were also drawn there.
1. The virtual world is not a game, but not a parallel universe.
2. Behind each avatar is a real person.
3. It should be realistic and do not expect super profits (and often - and just profits).
