NetBeans IDE 6.8 released

The new version of NetBeans, a popular open-source development environment, was released a little late.



Some of the innovations are:

• Java EE 6 support;
• JavaFX 1.2.1 support, improved editing of .fx files;
• New integration with kenai.com;
• Fully supported PHP 5.3;
• Rails 2.3.4 support, enhanced Ruby refactoring;
• Improved C / C ++ profiling: detection of memory leaks, bottlenecks;
