Here just now I checked one domain. I will not say what. Only 7 characters in com zone. The idea of the name was suggested to me by one good person in 2000. The sonorous name, cool, just right for the English version of the accounting program for the cafes. I was still thinking about returning to this idea, but ... apparently I would not be returning, but the name of that very cool one was never scored. Strange.
But what am I talking about? But about this: these domains, logos and trademarks, names - are important, but not 100%. The point is the functionality, the history of the project and methods of promotion. If your site is interesting and people have something to do there (what to read, who to talk to), they will be pulled. Your task is to invent a Latin name that 90% of housewives can type in the browser when they hear by phone from the same housewives no matter what language they learned in school, English, Deutsch, or Turkmeense taal. Then, when registering a domain, check similar names, register them with a redirect too. If there are already domains, or worse, existing projects with similar names - look for another, do not create incentives for parasitism on you in the future.
