No personalized pages - iGoogle is available!

Google personalized pages have been renamed to iGoogle . However, rebranding is not the only change! Now users have the opportunity to create their own gadgets with the help of an assistant.

After you have created your gadget, you can invite a certain circle of people to see and use it, or to make it available to everyone.

The assistant (the same as the creation wizard) allows you to enter settings for seven new gadget templates:

1. Framed Photo - add up to seven photos that can be rotated.
2. GoogleGram - add seven greeting messages.
3. Daily Me - write what you are doing now (tag?).
4. Countdown - calculates the time before the start of a particular event.
5. Personal List - can be used as a ToDo list, or a shopping list.
6. YouTube Channel - add up to 10 video files.
7. Free Form - add an image and some text.

Gadgets help keep in touch with your friends: if any contact from your GMail-box has created a new gadget, you can see it in the new iGoogle section called “ My Community ”.
