Those. not something specific, but in general new resources with interesting content to increase the horizon? I'm just sure that happened more than once. In such a situation, usually only their “favorites” and the search engine help (yes, yes, now there are resources that collect and accumulate interesting links - the same Habr, but they also need to be known or searched by a search engine), but what is the query to make? The essence

First I will tell you how I work with the Internet and what could be the problem here. All my requests can be divided conditionally into 2 parts.

• The first part contains the resources of my circle of interests - periodic resources. I watch them regularly. As a rule, such resources are located either in bookmarks, or in fast tabs, or in the top of browser history.
• The second type of query is searching for specific information. Here, first of all, I turn to the search engine and then go through a lot of “pieces” of information in the hope of finding the right one.

The problem that occurred to me - and if I decided to suddenly expand my regularly viewed resources, say medicine, what resources would I need to see? Of course there are options for solving - from google to asking around from medical friends - but I, as a user, naturally want everything at once) And besides, this is clearly a search engine task - I tell him that I want something interesting about medicine - his task is to find me something . Is not it so?

Recently I watched a video with the poll “How do you imagine the perfect search engine?” And now I have my own opinion. It would be nice to take into account the favorites and bookmarks of users (naturally with their consent) and use them to search for unspecified requests for something interesting on certain topics. Once again, the end result of such a request is not specific information pulled out of the content, but the resource or content itself. And in the search engine, the word “interesting ...” or something like that can be a signal for such a search.

Of course, there are difficulties, the most important of which will probably be the replenishment of the bank of selected links. If you give users the opportunity to add resources themselves - there will be one advertisement in favorites. If automatically - then the question arises how to do it. Or you can resort to the help of moderators who check all favorites added by users. Those. There are problems - but they can be solved. I am now interested to know whether it will be necessary for the people or the game is not worth the candle (or maybe it has already been implemented?).
