Webmoney and the transition to Linux
I want to warn new users of Webmoney, because I haven’t found a solution for myself. Many years ago, when I used Windows and registered my wallet with WebMoney, I somehow did not think about the problems of porting it to Linux.
WMID was registered through Keeper Classic, I used it quite actively, paid for the initial certificate, everything was fine until there was no need to switch to Linux.
After the correspondence with the support, it turned out that WMID is strictly tied to the type of software used - WMID registered through Classic cannot be used with Light, and vice versa. As a result, in order to use WebMoney, I need to forget about the old wallet and register a new one, change my data on many sites, lose the payment history, and BL.
