Indeed, when the FOM considered the average figure for Siberia, it took into account villages and small towns, where no one heard about the Internet. Therefore, statistics are probably understated. Another useful option that I used is internal research. In general, I must say, this is a very useful source, but also limited. Of course, the methodology is also not entirely accurate, but I think you will quickly understand its advantages and approximate accuracy (I would appreciate 10% per day and accordingly 1.8% per month.) Some interesting results:

• the number of Internet users in Novosibirsk at the end of November 2006 - 490 thousand people (monthly audience) - this is 2 times more than if we count, relying on FOM statistics
• the growth of the audience of Internet users in Novosibirsk was 43% per year
