Due to the power failure in the Alps, the Large Hadron Collider stopped

The work of the Large Hadron Collider (BAC), built for 6 billion euros (9 billion dollars) in the Alps on the border of Switzerland and France, again failed. On December 2, scientists were working with proton beams, when suddenly power was cut off. Failure occurred in the Swiss territory.

Thanks to the autonomous power supply system, the TANK was smoothly taken out of emergency mode and temporarily stopped. Now scientists have to carefully check the status of all nodes and sensors of the collider. The next experiment was scheduled for today, but it had to be postponed for several days. Recall that the BAC was first launched in September 2008, but soon it was out of operation for almost a year. Again, a unique installation earned only 21 November.
