Monk and Hunter

Once a monk was walking in the forest. Nearby, he noticed a hunter who was aiming at a deer. The monk ran up to him and begged him not to kill the deer.

- Why? - the hunter was surprised.
- If you kill him, then in the next life you can be born a deer. That is the law of karma.

The hunter wondered and did not kill the deer, dropping his gun. He looked at the monk: he was well and neatly dressed, had excellent manners and good facial features, he felt that the aroma of bliss and serenity emanated from the monk.

At the same time, the hunter pointed his gun at the monk. The monk asked him:

- My God, what are you doing ?!
“You yourself said that is the law of karma: if I kill you, I will be a monk in my next life.” I liked you.
