Did you know that the name of
Wagner is known not only thanks to the
opera of the famous composer?
And
whose name is the
reaction of the silver mirror known to every schoolchild?
What happens to
acetic aldehyde in an acidic and alkaline environment?
We have tried to give you an answer to this, as well as many other questions. Now anyone interested in chemistry can learn what
polyethylene is made of, what can be
obtained from acetone, and even how to make
life-giving euthanasia .
We took care to provide in the results not only the reaction itself, but also its name, as well as links to more detailed information in Wikipedia or in other directories.

A bit about what is organic nigma
Having taken its development, we studied all the products available on the market, bitterly sighed, and started working from scratch, since everything that already existed at that time did not satisfy us a little more than perfect. Therefore, we had to create several completely unique components.
First, we made a query string analyzer, which allows people who are completely unfamiliar with chemistry to enter substances for searching (when we tested our service, we offered to enter a query to a friend of a programmer, for which he simply
rewrote the picture from the chemistry textbook into the query string - however, our analyzer without Labor coped even with this!). Then we created a really excellent (well, what can be modest there :)) and an intelligent reactor, which already now, without training, easily processes almost all the reactions of the school program and a huge pile of everything. And finally, we draw all this and present it to the user, as always, completely free of charge and very quickly - even on the most complex requests it will take no more than a tenth of a second to find out everything that is necessary.
It works all under the control of the wonderful
Debian distribution, which we will gladly recommend to you :)
And if you are interested in more detailed information about the service, then you can see a specially prepared
description in our help.
But this is not the limit, but on the contrary, only the beginning. Unfortunately, we have not yet taught our reactor to work with cyclic compounds, but in the near future, our specialists and teachers of the best chemical department of the country - the
MSU chemical faculty - are going to teach him a couple of lessons. In our plans to train the system for hundreds more types of reactions, condensations and rearrangements, canonical names of substances, to show users not only reactions, but also their mechanisms, to give an opportunity to carry out retrosynthetic analysis.
Follow our developments.
