The world's largest online store Amazon.com expands cooperation with small independent merchants. As part of the
Fulfillment by Amazon program, Amazon provides entrepreneurs with their warehouses (there are 20 of them worldwide), a logistics system and a delivery service. In this case, the client does not have to put the goods on the Amazon site, but can work, for example, through eBay.
For an entrepreneur, this is very convenient: he marks the goods and sends them to the warehouse of the Amazon company, and she already sends out mailings to retail orders. The entrepreneur retains the right to sell part of the goods through his channels. Storage of goods is carried out at $ 16 per cubic meter per month. Shipping cost depends on the weight of the goods, the urgency of delivery and packaging (see table).

As it is easy to guess, the “Fulfillment by Amazon” program fits into Amazon’s overall strategy for creating network services infrastructure. They
provide hosting and computing power for independent start-ups, as well as a range of additional services. Now one more has been added to the list of these services.

In fact, the “Fulfillment by Amazon” program was launched last fall, but initially only those entrepreneurs were allowed to participate in the showcase of Amazon.com. Now, however, the use of the infrastructure of the e-commerce giant is possible for any unincorporated business.
