11 pirates using Share p2p client delayed in Japan

On Monday, 11 people were detained in Japan on suspicion of copyright infringement. All of them are users of the p2p-client Share . Among those detained are people between the ages of 23 and 57 who are downloading games, movies, software, and so on in the popular Japanese anonymous file sharing network.
Earlier in 2003, the predecessor Share Winny client caused the arrest of several people. The police managed to find a flaw in the program. Share promised users a more reliable protection and anonymity, but, obviously, this time the police managed to calculate the violators.
Detention is mainly due to the spread of anime. Among them are “Ranma”, “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”, “Lucky Star”, “Death Note”, “Fullmetal Alchemist” and others.

It is worth noting that in June of this year, the Japanese parliament adopted amendments prohibiting the downloading of copyrighted materials. This amendment will enter into force on January 1, 2010.

PS Today Perfect Dark is the most advanced p2p client in Japan, surpassing Winny and Share in security.
