Mirror new generation will be round?

The film has so strongly defined the size and shape of the body of a modern camera, that even now it’s hard to imagine what such designers could do to break this ancient stereotype. On the one hand, the old form has long been bored by everyone, but on the other hand, even the bold marketers of today are unlikely to have enough courage to break the standard of the rectangle into which it is customary to drive the camera. Deviations from the standard were so rare (only models like the Sony-717 come to mind, which were not far from the rectangular case), and besides, they are already out of production today, which is hardly worth mentioning today. Concept Nova promises to change everything - the camera body is made in it round and with two handles.



One design student, Erin Von, decided to start her career quite loudly. Nothing more, she swung at the most sacred, modern DSLR. Do not be confused by the Canon caption on the front of the camera - this is done for marketing purposes, because if you look at the lens (much like the medium format), it becomes clear that the toy from Canon is very far away.

The new camera, instead of the usual forms, has a round case and a very functional handle in the center, which turns into two with a slight movement - the power button and the shutter button remain on one, and all the function keys located on the other side turn out “To the screen, i.e., it is assumed that the photographer should manage them purely intuitively.
