Stocking up for the winter

Books are food for the brains of a programmer. And artistic - dessert. A good book is like a tasty dish that you want to finish reading, stretching pleasure, trying it again and again. But there are a lot of books that we have not yet sniffed and, perhaps, will never try, because several people have not advised them to us.

Everyone has one or two favorite books that others may like, please share it, please. I think it will be interesting to many to put in the queue "for reading" a few new ones. Let's arrange a "tasting" of books in the format: one book - one comment. So that others can add to favorites (and rate, and discuss) each book separately.

Make the book bold and do not leave it without impression (what is remarkable about something?). Any, even if modest and subjective, abstract may affect the choice of priority reading. Be careful, you will not add the comment any more and you will not correct later.

If a good author of all the books are different, advise one or two, indicative. Because it is difficult to queue the entire author. And to feel like a buridan donkey is also reluctant :)
