Adrenaline addicts - secrets of team behavior (1/17)

A series of publications on the topic of team behavior and team interaction patterns opens. It can be said that the number of useful practices is countable and somehow embarrassing to compare them with the diversity and magnificence of ineffective behavior that is observed and discussed. The people, due to cultural, social and other circumstances, decide to use not very good strategies of behavior, and then it becomes a habit, a comfort zone. And now, in order to abandon this or that behavior, we need to strain (this is minimal effort), and it is even more terrible to change our image in the eyes of others (and this requires courage and courage). In this series, 86 patterns of team behavior will be considered. This catalog of patterns is called " Adrenaline Drug Addicts " and is proposed by Tom DeMarco, author of the book "The Human Factor ". We will be glad if you find out something different in the discussed patterns and share your experience and opinion.

Today's publication contains links to the discussion of the first 5 patterns:

1. Adrenaline addicts (Adrenaline Junkies). A pattern of how people are constantly busy at work and injected for 24 hours ( audio )
2. Toropyshki (Rattle yer dags). An interesting pattern when a team is focused on urgent and important tasks than on following the Parreto principle ( audio )
3. Dead fish. I worked on such a project, and you can find out what it is after listening ( audio )
4. Window dressing (Happy Clappy Meeting). This is a team behavior when holding large meetings (audio comes with the “Tukhlyatina” pattern)
5. Manager-nanny (Nanny). Love this pattern ( audio )
