Another application is your microphone and camera. Our service allows you to post short audio and video messages on Twitter. Everything happens right in the browser and additional plugins are not needed.

Another point: to post messages, you must give Tvidiko access to your twitter account. We use OAuth, that is, you do not even need to enter a username and password.

Technology

Video is recorded from the Flash object, the video stream is sent to the media server. Choosing a server for the project, we considered the following options:

• Red5 - free, but not as stable as desired;
• Adobe Flash Media Server - stable, but expensive (from $ 1000 per server);
• Wowza - does not require large investments (from $ 65 per server per month) and scales out of the box on Amazon EC2.

When starting a new server, we specify the address of the server balancer, where the server will report information about its load. The client flash application first learns the load balancer address of the less loaded server and opens a connection with it.
