For two years, we talked closely with dozens of startup teams, both Russian and foreign, and a number of investors from Russia, studied foreign blogs, such as techcrunch.com and mashable.com. As a result, we identified two global problems:
1. Russian startups do not know how to move abroad or simply do not have the opportunity, because their creators do not live in Silicon Valley, next to journalists from top blogs. It is difficult to get foreign investments, because communication with Western investors is carried out only through certain investment funds in Russia, a number of investment events in the USA and Europe, as well as through trips abroad.
2. Foreign journalists and investors do not know what kind of Internet projects we have, they do not know what is happening on the Internet market in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, where dozens of new products are launched every year.

The problem of communication is obvious. The image of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, as countries where a passion startup is boiling as such is absent.
We decided to change this order of things because of our capabilities and created a project eestartup.com , East Europe Startup, that is, start-ups from Eastern Europe.
It's very simple - this is a blog about startups, investments and important events in our countries. This is an analogue of techcrunch.com, only we write in English about Russian projects for Americans.
The project is implemented in Wordpress, without any technical priblud, requiring time. All efforts will be aimed at promoting the project in the United States and England.
The goal of the project is to help start-ups, companies and events get on the “radar” of journalists from major foreign blogs, investors and potential users. Well, the super-global goal that we want to achieve is to improve the image of our Internet industry.
