Conference on Flexible Methodologies in Moscow: AgileDays'09
We are organizing a conference! It will be called AgileDays and will be held on December 9 in Moscow. We have collected the most interesting speakers.
Somehow at the training we heard: “Agile does not work. If he worked, they would be used by large companies. ” So we decided to invite guys from real monsters like Microsoft, Nokia and Amazon. It will be possible to find out how they use Agile and why. However, colleagues from small companies will also report.
We are against the naked Success Stories. In any of the coolest success stories, there are several sad pages about problems and difficulties. In general, we asked the speakers to focus on what the problems were and how they struggled with them :-). ')
... In the meantime, people argue on the topic “no answer to the question of how much it will cost in Agile” , we have a series of interesting reports from companies with real experience in organizing Agile development at the conference:
Mikhail Ganchikov will also tell how they work for Scrum in their projects with fixed price ( Fixed Price ) for Scrum.
Alexey Omelyanchuk (IS-Sigma) in the report " 8-bit Scrum " will tell about his experience of scrum-projects on the development of software and hardware systems for 8-bit platforms.
Another topic from the “this is impossible” cycle: Dmitry Viktorov from F-Secure will tell you how they scale Scrum in their company . The main issue of scaling is how to effectively divide into teams. Traditional component commands lack flexibility. If to form a so-called. Feature teams, then you will have to solve the problems of interaction between teams in the same components.
Our western colleague and recognized expert Dan Rawsthorne (Danube)will talk about who the Product Owner is . Dan will talk about how the idea of this role has changed in the modern approaches of Agile and what the Agile apologists think about this.
