Dimaska.net is a project for those who love St. Petersburg.
The project was born about six months ago, when I became acquainted with the Livestreet engine. The idea is simple - to collect a community of people who love St. Petersburg, interested in everything that happens in it. According to my calculations at the time, there should have been no problems.
Buy hosting, domain name and install the engine from livestreet easy. With customization and design a bit more complicated, with this the developers, in my opinion, have become too smart.
Nevertheless, the site was launched, now you need to find visitors, so that there are those who would have something to write. Thus, more rich content would appear on the site, which is good for any project. Unfortunately, there were no familiar admins of sites that would help with the initial traffic, and it makes no sense to invite visitors to an empty site. There is no money for advertising.
I started filling the site with content myself, wrote as best I could, asked my friends to comment and tell everyone they knew about my beautiful site.
Month after month goes away, the statistics of visits is a nearly flat line at a level of two to three dozen people. Hands down, but there are no ideas out of the current situation.
