GIMP will be removed from Ubuntu 10.04

It seems that Ubuntu developers have decided that GIMP is too powerful a tool for the average user. Therefore, it will not be included in the CD of the upcoming Ubuntu 10.04 . One of the reasons, according to the developers, was the excessive complexity of the GIMP interface as well as a lot of disk space - “Desktop users just want to edit their photos and they can do it in F-Spot”
