Press release of the new ion nettop Wexler VisION-2

Today, representatives of the company BTK have sent me a press release of a new product based on the platform nVidia ION, the successor to the nettop I have already tested . They apparently decided not to fool around with the name and called it rather trivial - Wexler VisION-2.

The appearance of the device, in my opinion, has become less stylish, even despite the fact that it was possible to purchase a nettop also in a black case. In principle, in the world this nettop is also presented by other vendors, so the black version performed by ViewSonic looks like this:

Accessories

Additionally, you can purchase an external DVD-drive, made in the style of the nettop. The drive can be attached to the nettop body with magnets and both devices can be placed on a single stand. I was promised to provide a nettop for testing, let's hope that the drive and the magnets will give in the kit ...

It is curious whether manufacturers will take into account the wishes of users and engineers, associated with the inconvenient organization of wires, when used with a VESA-mount. By the way, there was no information in general about the presence of VESA-attachment in the press release.

Prices

From the preliminary information on prices it is known that the prices for VisION-2 will correlate with the prices for ordinary VisION with a difference of 1000r. Therefore, the minimum bracket on the model series VisION-2 will start from 10990r . Devices can be purchased in the online store "10 Dimension", where in a couple of weeks the first retail batch should arrive.
