Augmented Reality on the cover of the newspaper "F5"

I work in a small but very ambitious and progressive Russian company REDMADROBOT . More recently, this week a project was completed on the development of augmented reality for the cover of a no less progressive Internet newspaper “F5” .

In this post I want to tell more about this project.
First of all, I would like to thank the F5 team and, in particular, Yuri Katsman for the fact that they went for it with us and were not afraid of the new and the unknown. After all, this is really the first cover with augmented reality in the Russian edition. Actually, that's what happened:
The essence of technology in the interaction of real and virtual environments. Objects from the real environment (markers) will be transformed on a computer screen into volumetric virtual objects when presented to a video camera.
On the cover of the newspaper "F5" printed a special marker. You can follow the link - code.f5.ru , show the cover in a video camera and watch the result.
You can still find newspapers in a cafe in Moscow, but next week there will already be a fresh issue, and you can only touch the new reality by downloading a marker on the site.
