What is the most relevant sorting in tapes? By the freshness!
For example, why do you need a search by Habr? In many ways, in order to find an article on the principle "I read this recently, somewhere it should be." Today I was looking for a fresh topic about SOAP and other site APIs.
For the umpteenth time I notice that to solve this problem I have to use ... search in Google Reader. It sorts the results by freshness (like Google Mail, by the way), and this turns out to be the most relevant:

For comparison, what gives the search for the same word "SOAP" by Habr (sphinx?).
This led me to the idea that in the "tape" systems the most recent answer in the search results is the most relevant. What do you think, is this true?
