Sociological surveys and attitudes towards them.

It is not even an article or review. These are some small thoughts and the actual question that I would like to receive an answer. Here , 0xa8 posted a survey message, which actually prompted me to think.

I think that probably every person at least once stumbled upon the interviewers - on the street, in the store, on the phone and so on. Moreover, I am talking more about those surveys that are on the phone, as they are usually much more tedious. For me at least. That is, a girl calls and asks “do you agree to answer a few questions?” And if you give your consent, then “izumitelny yes dakaniye and non-fancy” begins.

These polls are annoying for their duration and repeatability. However, it is necessary to somehow collect information for statistics. (I hope everyone understands why statistics may be required) I do not want to speak for everyone, I can only say for myself and my acquaintances with whom I discussed it. The overwhelming majority begins either to "jiving" or to answer "from the bald" after a short time from the start of the survey. The reasons for this behavior are obvious. I think not only me and my friends do that.

And now the questions. Given all the above, how can you trust such information? And if the answer is “skeptical,” then is there any point in this kind of survey?

And the second question. How do you think it would be most true to conduct surveys so that their value in terms of information was maximum? That is, to remove all the negative that I described above.
