Microsoft opens source code. NET Micro Framework!

Something that had not been possible to think about recently happened: Microsoft opens the source code of its large project - the .NET Micro Framework ( wiki ).

Today, during the preparation of the PDC conference, Microsoft announced not only the release of the fourth version of the .NET Micro Framework, but also announced that the project source code will be released under the Apache 2.0 license.
