Platform 2010 from the inside. Part 1
Having been on the Platform three times already, we decided with our colleagues to find out in more detail how such a large event was arranged from the inside. Armed with a small mobile phone-sized FlipCam, shooting video in HD-resolution, and came to ITC among the first visitors.
The conference was opened by Nikolay Pryanishnikov, President of Microsoft Rus. He called the current Platform unusual, because It presents six products at once: in addition to the key three, they revealed details about those being in the beta versions of Office 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and the new SharePoint.
20 minutes before the opening of Nikolai Nikolaevich could be caught in the auditorium. He took the time to give students a comment on the camera, offered to exchange business cards and even agreed to a few frames, as they say, for a personal photo album.

After lunch, we went to thematic reports. The central congress hall in which the opening took place was divided into three: Red, Green and Blue. In the latter, I spent most of the time. They told about the 10th Studio, StreamInsight technology, Intel architecture for corporate computing.
There were problems with the Internet on this Platform, the mobile wimax from Yota, apparently, did not penetrate the thick walls of the auditoriums either. So the idea was covered in real time to prepare video and photo reports from the scene. But they managed to talk with the organizers - Alexander Lozhechkin and Gaidar Magdanurov. We decided to write in English, then to share the link with foreign friends.
