Many have probably heard about the new version of Skype 4.1, in which the function “share desktop” has been added. Yesterday I decided to test it and found that the quality of the picture is very high! And I wanted the same quality from regular video. And the thought came :)

What does skype do when the channel is slow? It reduces the quality! And sometimes to such a state that it is impossible to see anything! Therefore, sometimes it is better to leave the quality and reduce the frequency of updating the image.

Now it remains only to share this piece of your screen with the other person, and for this you can use this new Skype function, and you can only share the selected area of ​​the screen.

If it is very slow, then the size of the video window (in my case in onenote) can be reduced. The quality is still incomparably higher.
