2. Comparison
2.1 Affiliate programs (affiliate)
Affiliate programs are an integral part of the promotion of Internet resources. The companies in question also, for the most part, have such programs. The general concept of the programs can be called unified - the user, if there is an account on the company's website, receives a reward for new users who come to the company through the links posted by this user. The main differences between companies are manifested in the issue of monetary reward to the client.
So, Weebly.com provides a percentage reward to the client from each transaction of the referent. In addition, the company provides the user with 1 month of active Pro-mode in the designer, but not more than 6 months. Wix.com, pays a fixed fee from each transaction of the referent. Brinkster.com and Squarespace.com are also fixed, but dependent on the type of client account.
Jimdo.com has several affiliate programs. The first one provides for free promotion of the product within social groups by replicating template sites (Pagepartner), the second is a regular partner program, but the user can choose the type of reward - fixed or percentage.
Webstarts.com - offers users up to $ 25 only for registering new users. Information about partner programs Webeden and Doomby could not be found.
2.2 Cost of services
Each company provides services conditionally free. Some of them provide significantly reduced versions of the designers for free use, some allow you to use all the available features, but only for a limited time, after which the user either pays for the subscription or his account is canceled.
As a rule, most paid accounts allow you to have more than 1-2 sites per account, extended storage for downloading files, more timely technical support, as well as the use of supporting opportunities to promote the site (for the most part Google services and the like).
So, Weebly.com has two versions of accounts. The cost of the paid version varies from the duration of the subscription, and ranges from $ 4.6 per month, for a subscription for six months, to $ 2.99 per month for a two-year subscription. Wix.com has several paid plans, each of which differs by a set of features and the cost of an annual subscription, from $ 4.88 per month to $ 16.17 per month.
Jimdo.com has two paid plans, with mostly quantitative than qualitative differences in services and having a cost of 200 rubles and 500 rubles per month, respectively. Webstarts.com also provides users with a choice of two plans, currently costing $ 4.89 and $ 7.16 per month, respectively.
For web designer use services, Brinkster.com has a different price list from the main (web hosting). The main difference between them is that the second allows you to create an online store. The cost of both plans is $ 4.95 and $ 8.95 per month. In addition, the plans of the designer are linked to the main plans, and the acquisition of an e-commerce plan is possible only if there are the most expensive paid accounts.
Squarespace.com provides users with three paid plans that provide more complex and sophisticated services, with an increase in cost. Like most plans of other companies, Squarespace plans have a gradation of value depending on the terms of the subscription. From $ 10.67 per month for the cheapest plan with a two-year subscription, to $ 40.00 per month for the most expensive, with a monthly subscription.
Webeden.com has the largest number of plans among all the companies under consideration - 4. In addition, the company provides users with the ability to pay in three different currencies - US dollars, British pounds and euros. But, the subscription is only annual and costs from $ 45.90 to $ 191.25 for the whole year.
Doomby.com has only one paid plan in the usual sense, with an annual subscription price of 45 euros, the maximum period is 3 years. But, in addition to the plan, the company provides additional paid features, such as "Domain Registration" and "E-Commerce" with an annual subscription cost of 35 euros and 155 euros, respectively. The user can use the "E-commerce" for free, but in a significantly limited form.
2.3 Services in the free version (free)
Each company attracts users the opportunity to use the free version of the product. The services provided by companies in this mode are listed in the table (see below), which allows you to visually compare the main features of a particular designer.
According to the information provided, it can be seen that almost all companies provide a basic set of services free of charge in the form of the possibility of placing basic information blocks (text, images, multimedia) on the site and downloading a certain amount of user information (from 10 MB to 3 GB). The only exception is Weebly, where access to the placement of multimedia resources, file downloads and, accordingly, data storage is provided only with a paid account.
In addition, most companies provide the ability to post information using HTML-code, as well as access to the application on the blog site, various aspects of socialization (communication with Facebook, Twitter, etc.), form editors and all kinds of widgets. Also, some companies allow users to use Google’s online services, as well as certain partner companies, if they have the appropriate accounts.
Three of the eight companies give users the opportunity to use elements of e-commerce in a free-of-charge design mode, but in significantly reduced versions relative to paid accounts. The protection of the site pages with a password and the possibility of using user accounts on the site in the free version of the designer is offered only by Jimdo.

2.4 Services in paid versions
Information about the company's paid services in the field of web design is also presented in a table (see below). In the paid versions of their designers, the companies represented mainly focus on:
- the lack of users on the sites, various advertising links and banners of both the companies themselves and their partners
- extended technical support for users with paid accounts compared to regular ones
- providing the user with the possibility of obtaining their own domain name.
In addition, with paid accounts, users can download significantly more of their own information into the database than in free modes (from 100 MB to 50 GB). The only exception is Squarespace, which is itself a hosting company.
For additional protection of information on the site, most companies provide users to define various roles for site visitors, group them, create appropriate security policies. In addition, Squarespace and Weebly give users the ability to protect information by setting a password for a piece of content.
Some companies, if users have a paid account, allow them to use various Google services in addition to those used in Free mode. Also, some companies have separate paid plans for e-commerce sites. Also, several companies provide users with the ability to link e-mail addresses to the site, expanding the number of possible sites per account, and additional opportunities to promote user sites.
It should be noted that the majority of companies provide approximately the same type of service packages in paid accounts, varying depending on the features of the companies. The exception in this question is Weebly, where part of the services that other companies provide for free can be obtained only for an additional fee (multimedia content, downloading information, etc.), and vice versa, some of the opportunities used in other companies only in paid modes can get for free (form editor, e-shop, partner services).

3. Conclusion
Based on the foregoing, it can be concluded that the presented designers for the most part provide users with substantially the same type of service sets, differing in price and some additions. Thus, it can be assumed that the choice of a particular constructor by users depends to a greater extent on the individual preferences associated with such a parameter as usability.
This question is purely individual for each individual user, but after examining the capabilities of the leaders of the represented companies - Weebly, Wix, Jimdo and Webeden, it can be concluded that most users prefer designers with enough themes to design the site and the ability to significantly edit selected topics. In addition, a significant advantage is the simplicity of the designer in the application and the availability of additional reference materials for its use.
All further user preferences are associated with competent promotion of designers and marketing policies of companies, including referral and partner programs.
