Exit Sidux 2009-03

Stefan Lippers-Hollmann announced the release of a new sidux 2009-03, codenamed "Μώμος" (Momos). This LiveCD distribution, based on the unstable Debian branch, focuses mainly on desktop machines. KDE 4 or Xfce is available as a desktop.


Based on the kernel version 2.6.31. Mass changes affected SysVInit, insserv, X.Org, and device discovery, and further improved the integration of KDE4 into sidux. The corresponding step was the rejection of KDE3. In the distribution was used version of KDE 4.3.2. In a fresh set of software is worth noting Iceweasel 3.5.4.
