By the beginning of this year, the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs has registered 1300 cybercriminals, which include hackers, carders, Internet fraudsters and other unpleasant individuals.
During this year in Belarus there were absolutely 847 crimes with the use of computer equipment, including 334 against information security. In the first quarter, 257 such crimes were recorded, of which 196 were against information security.
Igor Chernenko, head of the department for the disclosure of crimes in the field of high technologies of the country's Interior Ministry, is developing cybercrime. If from 1998 to 2001, it was dominated by fraud from foreign online stores for stolen credit card details, now hacker attacks on government and commercial institutions, the introduction of electronic data exchange, are widespread.

But 1,300 people are, of course, very few. Belarus has much to strive for.
