Law professor Eric Goldman has compiled a
list of the best and worst American Internet laws, with detailed comments on each of them. The professor emphasizes that in recent years, lawmakers have broken off as a chain and have begun to regulate various aspects of Internet activity. For example, the previous Congress reviewed almost 1,100 laws mentioning the word “Internet”.
The list of "best Internet laws" is very small and includes only two names.
1)
The Internet Freedom Tax Act , which exempts online shopping from sales tax.
')
2) Law
47 USC 230 , which relieves the owners of Internet sites from any responsibility for the content posted on the site by users. This law is an excellent example of double standards in relation to online and offline, because offline publishers are fully responsible for the content of their publications.
